Dr. Bianca Zenor
President
Dr. Bianca Zenor (she/her), a loyal Boilermaker, earned her BS in biology, MS in animal science, and DVM all from Purdue University. In March 2024, she became the Chief Membership Officer at the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), where she provides strategic leadership to drive membership growth, enhance member engagement, and support career development for veterinary professionals. In this role, Dr. Zenor oversees the Membership & Field Service Division, Convention & Meeting Planning Division, and Veterinary Career Center, implementing innovative strategies to meet the evolving needs of AVMA members.
Before her current role, Dr. Zenor spent 7 years in small animal practice in Indiana before joining Hill’s Pet Nutrition. She served as a Professional Consulting Veterinarian, Professional Consulting Veterinarian Team Lead, and senior manager of veterinary affairs. She then became the Veterinary Nursing Program director and clinical associate professor at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2020, she joined IDEXX as the director of Medical Affairs, where she led a team of managers and specialists in collaborative engagement with R&D, CAG lines of business, and the marketing organization. As the director of Global Medical Affairs, she expanded her team’s support to the North American, European, and Asia-Pacific regions.
Outside of work, Dr. Zenor enjoys family time with her husband of over 25 years and two children. She has two Goldendoodles and a cat. Gardening and running are the activities that help to fill any spare time.
