Dr. Carolyn Luther is the Professional Veterinary Affairs Senior Manager, East Region at Hill’s Pet Nutrition, where she manages the team of Professional Consulting Veterinarians who focus on educating veterinarians and veterinary health care team members on how nutrition can enrich and lengthen the special relationship between people and their pets.

 

Dr. Luther received both her BS in Animal Sciences & her DVM from Purdue University. She worked as an equine veterinarian in Indianapolis for 3 years until she relocated to a large AAHA practice in Greenville, South Carolina. During her 13 years there she shifted her focus to small animal medicine (in addition to still seeing horses). Her industry career started with Hill's Pet Nutrition as a Professional Consulting Veterinarian. Carolyn's next role was as Associate Director, Veterinary Affairs at KindredBio where she led the Professional Services Veterinarian team, CE programs, and KOL engagement. From there, she moved to Medvet (a doctor owned and led group of Veterinary Specialty hospitals) as the Director of Medical Recruiting where she managed the recruiting team and strategy,  and developed the strategic partnerships, university ambassador program, and conference strategy.

 

Carolyn is based in Wellington, Florida where she competes in dressage with her horse Kleverdale, AKA Hans, named for Clever Hans. She also has a rescued Great Dane named Bradley Cooper who is bigger than most ponies.
